Fiber-to-the-Home Network Expansion
Geotech has partnered with Sherwood Mutual Telephone Company (SMTC) through the evolution of its telecommunications network, supporting the transition from traditional copper infrastructure to Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) technology.
As part of the expansion of broadband services into the Hicksville, Ohio exchange, Geotech provided network design, fiber strand assignments, construction inspection, and on-site engineering support throughout deployment. This comprehensive approach ensured the network was installed to applicable standards, accurate records were maintained, and construction progress was properly documented from design through project completion.
