Kent ISD

As Communication Engineering Consultants, Geotech worked with Kent Intermediate School District (ISD) for Kent County, MI to provide a comprehensive solution, which included designing, permitting, and writing the RFP for the construction of a network that connects the Kent ISD’s IT Center to each school district’s IT Center in Kent County. This will provide each school with a 10 Gig feed with its own collapse redundant connection. During the construction of the project, Geotech had an employee assigned to the phases of the project as the construction inspector, which involved reviewing the status of the project, worked as the liaison between the client and the contractor, and reviewed the construction to make sure that the installation matched the design and followed the appropriate codes required for the construction.
