Geotech provided fiber optic engineering, network design, permitting, and construction oversight services for the Charter Township of West Bloomfield, Michigan. The project involved designing a municipally owned fiber optic ring network to connect Township offices, public safety facilities, parks, and critical infrastructure while replacing an existing leased communications system.
Our team completed fiber route planning, field investigations, utility coordination, and engineering design for approximately 20 miles of fiber optic infrastructure. Geotech also prepared detailed CAD drawings, managed permitting, coordinated with utility providers and government agencies, and provided construction support throughout the project.
The completed network provides reliable, scalable, and future-ready communications infrastructure that supports the Township’s long-term technology, public safety, and operational needs.
